We crossed the border and cycled to Maku. From Maku we cycled to Tabriz and caught a train to Tehran. The fact that Lowanna had to wear a chador (black tent) whilst cycling in 45 degree heat led us to take coaches across the rest of the country, passing through Esfahan, Kerman, Bam and Zahedan en-route to the Pakistani border at Taftan.
